The branding and marketing story of Soulpapamarketing.
Why do results vary so dramatically across companies despite using the same advertising channels and similar budgets? Markets, like living nature, always carry variables—rain, snow, uncertainty. The only way to protect your business and build sustainable growth amid this uncertainty is through measurement and optimization grounded in systematic processes.
For marketing activities to become assets that accumulate value over time rather than mere expenses, the process of meticulously refining brand persuasion is essential. Through six core processes I apply in my work, I invite you to reestablish your business perspective.
1. STP: Revisiting Your Market Entry Strategy

Even if your offering is excellent, poor market segmentation and positioning will inevitably yield poor results.
- Segments: Verify through data whether your current market is too broadly defined or if you’re missing opportunities in emerging segments.
- Targeting: Check whether your target persona aligns with their actual needs and how they seek to address those needs.
- Positioning: Honestly evaluate whether you’re stuck in a position where you can’t compete effectively against rivals.
2. Branding: Sharing Value Through the EPIC Framework

Branding transcends visual elements—it’s the process of aligning your entire organization around why your brand exists and communicating this to customers.
- Existence: Examine the history of how your service resolves the frustration customers felt when discovering and searching for solutions.
- Purpose: Strengthen your value from the perspective of solving needs. For example, clarifying that you serve interior design customers exhausted by unreliable quotation systems.
- Identity: Define your brand identity through a clear statement of ten words or fewer and distinctive visual color.
- Connection: Between Serious and Funny, Formal and Casual, establish your brand’s unique tone and voice—then reflect this consistently across all content.
3. 4P and Persuasion: Objectifying Competitive Advantage

Add persuasive power to the traditional marketing mix to establish the logical foundation for why customers should choose your product.
- Product & Price: Verify whether your product’s functionality exceeds competitors and whether pricing aligns with market trends.
- Place & Promotion: Examine the current state of distribution channels and how quickly competitors respond to events.
- Persuasive Power: Ask yourself holistically: do customers have sufficient reason to buy your product rather than competitors’?
4. Campaign Planning: Precision Design for KPI Achievement

Vague trend-chasing must be accompanied by data-driven detailed planning.
- KPI (Performance Metrics): If your target ROAS is 300%, you need an objective strategy to achieve it. For example, if conversion cost per purchase is 10,000 won but average price point is 20,000 won, you should first optimize bundles to raise AOV above 30,000 won.
- Key Benefit & Proof Points: Present clear differentiation that solves your target persona’s problem, and position authentication elements or evidence to support it.
- Look and Feel: Organize visual tone and manner—whether eco-friendly, intimate, or warm—to align with your branding.
5. Campaign Buildup and Validation: Market Feedback

This is the stage where you deploy your established strategy to the real market and observe its response.
- AB Test: Construct diverse combinations of content, target groups, and optimization events to identify the highest efficiency.
- Control Test & Brand Survey: Conduct comparative analysis of performance gains before and after campaign deployment, measure brand recall, and validate strategy effectiveness.
6. Measurement and Optimization: Realizing Growth Hacking

Finally, select combinations that achieved outstanding results and develop your business. Based on measured data (Measure), reconstruct your campaigns (Optimize), and realize growth hacking by comprehensively reflecting validated feedback to gain market advantage.
Sniper Insight
Receiving poor results is natural. But continuing advertising without understanding why is negligence.
Ask yourself. Does your service precisely address your target’s need? Is your AOV designed adequately to achieve your target profit structure?
Marketing without measurement and optimization is gambling.
What do you perceive as the greatest obstacle to your current business? If your ad click-through rate is high but purchase conversion is low, it may signal that you need to examine the persuasive power based on 4P or the logical structure of your product detail pages.
Frequently Asked Questions
What are the core processes for effective marketing?
Marketing is not merely ad execution but a systematic process. Sustainable results require cyclical implementation of six key stages: market analysis, brand strategy, content planning, channel management, performance measurement, and optimization.
Which stage do most brands skip in their marketing process?
Most brands focus only on ‘execution’ and skip the ‘analysis’ and ‘optimization’ stages. Without a feedback loop that analyzes what worked based on data and incorporates those insights into the next cycle, you end up repeating the same mistakes.
Where should a brand new to this process begin?
The first step is objectively diagnosing your current brand position and goals. Next, clearly define your target customers, then establish content and channel strategy aligned with their customer journey. Execution over perfection—starting and iterating is what matters most.
